We do research and development application-related and independent of the structural, building technical and economic optimization of real estate. In addition, we identify renewable energy potentials to investigate sustainable and renewable generation of electricity and heat. We consider the entire life cycle for infrastructure facility and real estate from development, planning and construction to operation up to the Renovation, conversion or restructuring.

The interdisciplinary Institute for Energy, Facility & Real Estate Management is part of the degree course Energy & Sustainability Management and Facility Management & Real Estate Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Kufstein.

Students are learning by comprehension and experience. Congresses, conferences & special events

The course Facility Management & Real Estate Management is organizing since 1998 once a year an established international congress, conferences and specialized events. Here, experts discuss current issues of the branch and scientists are presenting their findings to the professional public. The focus is always on the one hand on current issues of the Facility Management and the Real Estate Management sector and on the other hand on sustainable topics from the field of the energy management. The degree courses and the institute work closely. The participants are business experts, interested professionals and students. The institute connects the science, the economy and the education.

The WinterCongress is internationally orientated. At the same time the international WinterSchool with about 200 students takes place. Regulary we invite companies and research institutes to our Firside Chats to present their ideas and solutions to problems in the context of real estate and energy & sustainability management.

Education & advanced training

As an institute in the degree programmes Facility Management & Real Estate Management and Energy & Sustainability Management, we bring the latest research results in the training & development and offer our students collaboration with the Research Projects. We permit young scientists after their graduation responsible jobs and good career opportunities. We consider the close connection between the latest research results in our Bachelor's and Master's degree as well as our advanced training opportunities as a necessary self-evidence.
